Southern Bulgaria’s largest career forum, WorkIn Stara Zagora, returns for its fourth consecutive year on 3 and 4 April 2026 at the Stara Zagora State Opera. The event’s main organiser is Invest Stara Zagora, part of the Municipality of Stara Zagora.
This year’s edition is expected to attract record interest and strong participation from both businesses and people seeking new opportunities. Nearly 40 companies from key economic sectors, ranging from IT and energy to manufacturing, agribusiness and mechanical engineering, will present concrete career opportunities. The number of exhibitors has increased by 15% compared with last year, a clear indication that WorkIn Stara Zagora continues to grow with each edition.
This year’s programme promises an exciting line-up. Inspiring personalities such as Aleksandar Sano, Militsa Gladnishka, Ivo Arakov and Kristiyan Yankulov will take to the stage. They will be joined by experts Georgi Parvanov, who will offer advice on standing out in the job market, and Petar Ivanov, who will demonstrate how artificial intelligence is already an active “team member”.
The event will expand its business networking opportunities through the participation of the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the British Bulgarian Business Chamber, which will have a dedicated networking area. This space will facilitate direct meetings with companies and provide information on export opportunities, international partnerships, trade missions and access to new markets. BESCO will also participate, further strengthening links between local businesses and international networks.
