The opportunities for career and personal development in Stara Zagora were presented on October 20, 2024 in the capital of Great Britain during the second edition of Bulgaria Wants You "London: Career and life - why in Bulgaria?".
The prestigious forum was attended by experts from the "Investment, Energy Efficiency and Green Transition" department together with representatives from the "Tourism" department of Stara Zagora Municipality. Their mission was to reveal the opportunities offered by our municipality for business, professional development, tourism, sports and social life, as well as the cultural and historical wealth of Stara Zagora.
The building of the Royal Geographical Society brought together over 2 thousand Bulgarians of different ages, united by the idea that Bulgaria could be their place for a successful career and a good life. The stand of the Municipality of Stara Zagora aroused the interest of a large number of visitors: entrepreneurs, employees and workers from various spheres of trade, services and production, the experts from the municipality announced. Visitors' questions were directed to current and future development opportunities, job vacancies, quality of life, as well as social and health infrastructure.
The event was opened by the famous presenters Ivan Hristov and Andrey Arnaudov, who are also the founders of the initiative. Among the speakers were also Ivet Lalova, Dimitar Rachkov, Momchil Vasilev and some of the most successful Bulgarian entrepreneurs and managers from leading companies.
Among the official guests of "Career and life - why in Bulgaria?" were also the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Bulgaria to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Tihomir Stoychev, the head of the Office for Trade and Economic Affairs in London at the Ministry of Economy and Industry Krasimir Kiryakov and the director of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London Svetla Dionisieva.
