With a stylish ceremony, the first functioning plant in the "Zagore" Industrial Zone was officially opened in Stara Zagora. The local company, which is one of the leaders in the production of polymer, flexo-printed and laminated films and packaging - "Ate Plast", has expanded its activities with an investment of over BGN 20 million. For the implementation of this project in 2021, the company received a class A investor certificate. Its construction activities took about a year, to which the Municipality of Stara Zagora and the management of the Zagore Industrial Zone contributed, as well as various local and state institutions , it became clear by event time. "Our good cooperation and mutual trust led to the successful and quick completion of the project," he emphasized Maria Zhekova, manager of the company and together with her family cut the ribbon on the new plant.
The building has a total area of 6.5 decares - it houses a storage area, two warehouses, with space for a third, as well as various production spaces. Details about the building were given by one of the company's managers, engineer Tsvetan Dimov. He emphasized that it is foreseen expansion with another plant next door.
The official event was attended by the deputy mayors of Stara Zagora Radostin Tanev, Nadezhda Chakarova, Krasimira Chakhova and Milena Zheleva, municipal councilors, the team of
Industrial zone "Zagore", the public mediator of the municipality Ivanka Sotirova, the regional governor Iva Radeva, as well as dozens of representatives of various institutions, civil and business organizations. They had the opportunity to join the Ate Plast cause of construction on a new playground for the children of Stara Zagora.
Industrial zone "Zagore" offers investors plots with built basic technical infrastructure and communications. Its grounds are almost full. Nearly 424 new decares were annexed.
