TECH ACADEMY 2024 - KNOW-HOW FOR SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES FOR STUDENTS

The Association of Innovations, Business Services and Technologies (AIBEST), together with Infragistics and Scalefocus, organizes a free summer technical academy in Stara Zagora. The educational initiative is aimed at 10th and 11th grade students and will take place from July 9 to 30. Another contribution from the innovative business in favor of the modern type of education is carried out in partnership with the Municipality of Stara Zagora.

Tech Academy 2024 kicks off on July 9 with a kick-off event. On it, the task will be presented, according to which high school students will develop a project for a period of 3 weeks. The graduates of the "Romain Rolland" Professional High School of Computer Science and Mathematical Analysis "Prof. Minko Balkanski" and Profiled Science and Mathematics High School "Geo Milev" will be divided into teams of 4 to 6 people and will work on the task as a team.

Students will brainstorm their ideas following business processes - Tech Academy will give them the know-how of successful practices years before they enter the professional sphere. This will happen with the guidance of mentors, representatives of the largest Bulgarian and international IT companies, members of AIBEST.

"We are glad that there is so much interest in the initiative from the schools with a technical profile in Stara Zagora and their graduates! This will be extremely useful for students - both at the current stage of their education and in the future, when thanks to such initiatives they will develop key skills for their realization. Namely teamwork, meeting deadlines, effective brainstorming, presenting projects and others", commented the executive director of AIBEST Natalia Georgieva.

Academy mentors keep secret the specific assignment students will receive. They only issue that the task will be related to education and a successful project could be used to facilitate students if implemented. A competent jury of representatives of business, local government and the Regional Department of Education - Stara Zagora will award the teams with the best executed projects at the finale of the event - July 30.
