The fourth edition of the WorkIn Stara Zagora 2026 career forum will take place over two days, on 3 and 4 April 2026, at the Stara Zagora State Opera. The official opening is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Friday, 3 April.
The organisers from the Municipality of Stara Zagora’s Department of Investments, Energy Efficiency and Green Transition report a 30% increase in registered participants compared with 2025. Visitors will be able to explore more than 45 stands, where companies will present their internship programmes and career opportunities.
Established speakers in the forum’s programme include Kristiyan Yankulov, presenting “Creativity as a Profession: Opportunities in the Digital World”; Petar Ivanov, with “Adding AI as a New Team Member: The Latest Generation”; and Georgi Parvanov, with “How to Build a Personal Brand in the Job Market”. On the second day, visitors will hear inspiring stories and advice from Aleksandar Sano, Ivo Arakov and Militsa Gladnishka.
The Stara Zagora Tourist Information Centre will once again participate, presenting the city as an attractive place to live, enjoy culture and pursue personal and professional development.
The Podari Vreme (“Give Your Time”) Foundation will also join the 2026 edition. For 15 years, the organisation has been building a network of volunteers who support children without parental care. It works with more than 300 children across over 22 social services throughout Bulgaria, organising regular meetings and visits. Its participation aims to attract new volunteers from the region and create opportunities for partnerships and sponsorship.
WorkIn Stara Zagora 2026 marks a new stage in its development with the participation of chambers of commerce, which play a key role in the business environment and international business relations. The American Chamber of Commerce, the British Bulgarian Business Chamber and the Turkish Chamber of Commerce will take part in the event.
Their presence highlights the forum’s growing significance and opens up new opportunities for cooperation. In addition to hosting their own stands for meetings with participating companies, chamber representatives will also be available to other visitors, providing a practical platform for dialogue, partnerships and future investment.
