The second edition of the entrepreneurial program Weekend Activator was held in Stara Zagora. It was aimed at young and ambitious people who had the opportunity to develop their business ideas. The challenge attracted 48 candidates from Stara Zagora, Sofia, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, as well as Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven and Belene aged between 18-35, and 30 of them were given the opportunity to participate. The approved candidates were divided into 5 teams and with the help of their mentors developed to the first prototype level five business ideas.
The teams presented the results and with the help of a jury and pre-set evaluation criteria, the winning team was nominated, namely the Global Worming team, a project to produce biofertilizer through an innovative method of soil enrichment using floss. The end customer of the product are organic farms for growing ecologically clean crops.
The winners will be admitted to the final stage of the selection for the upcoming season (February 25 - April 17, 2022) of the two-month ABLE Activator entrepreneurship course, and will receive five consultations with mentors from the ABLE community.
