"Information Day" for the presentation of the ECP8 project "European Network for Authentic Cities"

The Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, together with the Municipality of Stara Zagora, organizes a media event "Information Day" for the presentation of the ECP8 project "European Network for Authentic Cities", implemented jointly and co-financed by the European Union Office for Intellectual Property.

The event was held at the "Zachary Knyazheski" Regional Library. The implementation of the Information Day is in connection with the implementation of the activities laid down in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Municipality of Stara Zagora dated 06.05.2024.

The focus of the event was to acquaint the general public with the essence of the European initiative to guarantee the rights of the owners of intellectual property objects, by promoting the purchase of original goods and authentic products and joining efforts to spread the prevention of counterfeits in the commercial network.

The focus of the Informational was on the enormous damage that the purchase and sale of non-original products causes to local government, businesses and every individual citizen.

Experienced experts of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria, involved in the implementation of the project, will present information and materials related to the objectives, activities, interested groups and individuals, as well as the expected results of the project.
