The implementation of the Industrial Park "Industrial Zone Zagore - Elenino Village" will bring over half a billion leva in investments and more than 1,000 new jobs. This became clear during the official groundbreaking ceremony. The initiative is key to the economic and industrial development of the region.
The total cost of the investment approach for the construction of infrastructure and communications amounts to 17.3 million leva, of which 14 million are provided through the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan under the "AttractInvest" program. The financing is being implemented with the participation of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth and the Bulgarian Development Bank.
The construction activities include the comprehensive development of road, water supply and sewage infrastructure, reconstruction of the municipal road SZR-1190 (to the village of Khristiyanovo), as well as a parking zone with spaces for electric cars, trucks and buses. The goal is to create a sustainable investment climate with fully prepared land for industrial activities.
"With this, we are not just expanding the Zagore Industrial Zone, but creating real conditions for investments and long-term economic development. Over 330,000 sq. m of the territory have already been allocated to investors," said Radoslav Tanev, Executive Director of Zagore Industrial Zone JSC.
According to Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth Krasimir Yakimov, the development of the zone is a vivid example of successful public-private partnership, noting that 9 more industrial parks are being built within the framework of the current program with a total financing of nearly 200 million leva.
The implementation of the infrastructure initiative has been entrusted to DZZD DLB CΠ GROMA, with the designer "Bulproject" EOOD - Stara Zagora and construction supervision by "Augusta Consult" EOOD.
The final implementation deadline is 1 year.
