Deputy Mayor Radostin Tanev today welcomed a Chinese delegation led by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to our country Dai Qinli

The delegation visited Stara Zagora at the invitation of the mayor - Zhivko Todorov. It was also attended by Radoslav Tanev, executive director of "Industrial Zone Zagore" JSC, Rositsa Raykova, head of the "Investment, Energy Efficiency and Green Transition" department.

"Our main priority is the creation of opportunities for the economic development of the region and the potential of human resources. We are proactive. We are open to any potential foreign investor, holding direct meetings to get to know the specific needs and the help we would provide," assured Radostin Tanev, Deputy Mayor for "Transport, Ecology, Investments and Green Transition".

He emphasizes the possibility of Stara Zagora providing qualified labor for every foreign investor due to the process of transformation in the employment of highly qualified specialists in the field of energy.

"We guarantee you a fast administrative track, security and predictability," stressed Tanev.

Ambassador Dai Qinli expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to visit the municipality of Stara Zagora. "Stara Zagora is a city with a long history and it is a great honor for me to be here today and to discuss together the possibilities of future cooperation," she noted.

Radoslav Tanev, executive director of Industrial Zone Zagore AD, told the delegation from China how it functions. "The first stage of 115 decares and the extension to 135 decares has been completed, all the land has been submitted, and the second stage of its development with a five times larger area is currently underway. We have signed a preliminary contract with one investor and are in the process of negotiations with a second one," he shared.

The Chinese delegation watched with particular interest the presentation of Rositsa Raykova, head of the "Investment, Energy Efficiency and Green Transition" department, which illustrated all the reasons to invest in Stara Zagora and the region.

Mr. Peng Jianhua, First Secretary of Commerce Department, Lin Lin, Economic Trade Expert, Ma Qi, Secretary of Ambassador Qinli participated in the working meeting from the Chinese delegation. They got acquainted with the legislative framework that affects foreign investors in Bulgaria.

The Municipality of Stara Zagora received an invitation to participate in an international business event in September in Sofia, organized by the Embassy of China in Bulgaria and an invitation to visit the People's Republic of China.

The delegation visited "Zagore" Industrial Zone, "DZU AD" part of Videoton Bulgaria, "Medina - Med" company, as well as Trakia University - Stara Zagora.
