Business Center Stara Zagora of DSK Bank, together with the subsidiary of the bank "Regional Fund for Urban Development" AD, will finance "Ate Plast" Ltd. for the construction and equipment of a new factory for printing flexible packaging in the Industrial Zone "Zagore" in . Stara Zagora.
At the end of 2021, the parties signed a loan agreement amounting to over BGN 16.3 million, of which over BGN 6 million were recycled funds under the JESSICA initiative, representing a national resource under OP "Growing Regions" 2007-2013, provided through the Fund of Funds.
The investment in a new printing house is part of Ate Plast's long-term strategy to expand its production base, increase and automate production capacity. The production in the new base will include printing, lamination and confectioning of flexible packaging for the food, construction, furniture, hygiene and sanitary industries. The investment will contribute to the sustainable economic development of the region. The construction activities are expected to be completed and the factory to be fully operational by the end of 2022, and 21 new jobs will be created in the new plant.
