Nearly 30 young and proactive people joined the ABLE Weekend Activator in Stara Zagora
In the period June 2-4, ABLE (Association of Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs), together with the Municipality of Stara Zagora and one of the leading IT companies in the city, organizes a 2-day entrepreneurial training ABLE Weekend Activator in Stara Zagora. The city hosts the forum for the second time. The event was opened by Radostin Tanev, deputy mayor of the municipality, who appealed to young people to be active, persistent and resourceful, and not to forget that Stara Zagora is the place where they can improve themselves as individuals and professionals. It became clear from his words that the Municipality will continue to be a partner in initiatives that stimulate the development of young people.
A total of 5 teams presented their business ideas to the jury, which consisted of: Rositsa Raykova - head of the "Investment "department of the Municipal Administration, Dora Radeva - compliance officer, Edynamix, Violeta Nedeva, program director of Business Entrepreneurship at the "America for Bulgaria" Foundation , Rositsa Petrova - founder of "Home of wool" and Associate Professor Dr. Atanas Georgiev - Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Sofia University.
The training format is based entirely on the experiential learning method with many practical tasks and simulations, with the main goal being to help ambitious people gain the knowledge to generate innovative ideas and develop them into real businesses.
The course gave nearly 30 young and proactive people from all over the country the opportunity to develop their ideas into real working projects and businesses through individual mentoring, contacts and detailed methodology.
A project aimed at fighting Cybercrime (Blacktrace Security) has won the ABLE Weekend Activator, and the team will be supported by 5 consultations from professional experts to continue the successful development of the idea.
