The Municipality of Stara Zagora is organizing today an online seminar on "Investment Opportunities in Stara Zagora and the Region". During it, the head of the Investment Department, Rositsa Raykova, promoted the region to Swedish companies and the conditions for business development, focusing on several sectors: IT, wine production and automotive.
During the working meeting, detailed information about the Municipality of Stara Zagora and the region was presented. Dr. Rumyana Grozeva, member of the board of directors of the Zagore Industrial Zone and executive director of the Stara Zagora Regional Economic Development Agency, introduced the business representatives to the opportunities for investing in the Zone.
Stefan Shoselov, a member of the Stara Zagora Employers' Club and chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria for Stara Zagora District, also took part in the online meeting.
The participants also got acquainted with the study opportunities offered by the Thracian University. The event was also attended by MP Radostin Tanev, Valentin Stoev, Counselor and Head of Trade and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Stockholm, Stefan Bengtson, Chairman of the Swedish-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and representatives of Bulgarian and Swedish business.
