The municipality of Stara Zagora was the only Bulgarian municipality that was part of the first event of Bulgaria wants you abroad, united by the motto "Life and career - why in Bulgaria?".
Part of it was the career exhibition with 20 stands of Bulgarian and international companies. Representatives of the Municipality of Stara Zagora - "Investment Department", together with the companies "Regiocom" and "Edynamix", as well as the team of the Industrial Zone "Zagore" presented themselves with a common stand. They showed on the one hand how local government and business can work together for a common cause, and on the other hand they revealed the advantages of the city in terms of good living conditions and the opportunities it offers for career development.
The Stara Zagora stand was among the most visited. The representatives of Stara Zagora shared that they have aroused interest among students looking for employment after graduation in Germany, but also among permanently settled Bulgarians who are already planning their return.
"There were also many of our fellow citizens at the event who were very excited and impressed by the presence of the Municipality in Munich, as well as by the special focus that the organizers put on the city. People are the greatest wealth of a nation, therefore the Municipality of Stara Zagora invests in this direction. The city has been completely changed with a new and modern vision, with renovated schools and kindergartens, with improved parks and avenues. Efforts are being made to stimulate the business environment. The joint initiative of the local government and the state, which created one of the most modern and fully completed separate industrial zones - "Zagore", is an indication of the seriousness of all of us in attracting Bulgarian and foreign companies", he said in his interview to the cameras of "Bulgaria wants you" - Rositsa Raykova, head of the "Investment Department".
Representatives of the Municipality of Stara Zagora at the event, which gathered nearly 1,000 compatriots in Munich, were the junior expert of the "Investment department " - Veronika Petkova, Radoslav Tanev - executive director of Industrial zone "Zagore" and the technical assistant of the zone Antoineta Nikova.
The Bulgarian community met not only with the founders of the platform - Ivan Hristov and Andrei Arnaudov, but also with the president Rosen Plevneliev (2012-2016), the journalist Georgi Toshev, the producer Magardich Halvadzhiyan and Lucy Dyakovska, who were speakers at the forum. They all told their true and inspiring stories on their way to success to motivate Bulgarians that they are "welcome" back to their homeland and that Bulgaria can provide them with the same opportunities and a good standard of living that they have in Germany .
